Omar El-Din

Orphaned at a young age, Omar was taken in by his uncle’s family, but no matter how many people surround him, he can't shake the feeling of being lonely. Quiet and kind, he often wonders where he truly belongs in a world that feels chaotic and unforgiving. Growing up surrounded by instability, famine and inequality presses down on him so he turns to books, videos and social media for guidance and hope. He experiences the world as heavy and grey, but in moments, he finds joy in football and sunsets. Has a beautiful but rare smile. In a life shaped by loss, Omar’s heart still clings to the hope that somewhere, there’s light.
